Welcome to the MVEP Blog!

One thing I have always had a passion and knack for, is bringing people together. In my opinion, gathering is one of the most powerful and important things we can do. I have always had a deep love for events, and watching all of the components come together harmoniously. When I started coordinating events professionally, I was overcome with gratitude to have found a talent and career path that brings me true joy. I love meeting new clients and learning about their backgrounds, showcasing their unique styles, and helping turn their dreams into realities.

When it comes event coordination and electrical power, my cofounder (and husband) Zach and I have the extensive experience, knowledge and expertise to get the job done and consistently exceed client expectations. When it comes to the ins and outs of officially starting a business, I would be remiss to not extend my immense gratitude for all of the support and guidance we have received along the way. To each and every client we have had the honor of working with thus far. To the incredible array of local vendors, and specifically Sharisse Scott-Rawlins of bysharisse, Nina Levin of Stoney Hill Pizza and Marta Azzollini of Marta’s Kitchen MV. These three badass business owners inspire me every day! Speaking of fantastic female entrepreneurs, I couldn’t have navigated through any of this without Marnely Murray and Angela Prout of Shored Up Digital. Big thanks also to Kris Rabaska and Tara Kenny for design help, and Luke DiOrio and Jordan Chinn for drone footage and videography. To every single one of you who has recommended us, engaged with our content, or offered a word of advice- thank you. If there is anything I have learned so far about starting a successful business, it is to welcome advice, criticism and support. MV is a special place for a million reasons, but the community of business professionals here is remarkable.

While events are the best way to bring people together, writing has a beautiful way of doing that too. This blog will not only explore who we are and the events we have worked on, but it will offer guidance and tips for throwing events of all shapes and sizes. I hope you find as much joy in getting to know MVEP, as we find in getting to know all of you. Oh, and happy New Year. We have a feeling 2025 will be a good one :)

Until next time,
